Air to Water Heat Pumps
The Greensource air to water heat pump works by converting the energy from the outside air into heat and transferring the heat to water; it can then be used with an existing style central heating system. This gives the advantage of connecting the heat pump to a new or existing wet system to provide the hot water for heating.
As Greensource air to water heat pumps provide an outgoing flow temperature of 65°C, they are ideally situated for underfloor heating or oversized radiators. Greensource air to water pumps are ideal for providing low cost heating throughout the year.
- Energy efficient - COP* of up to 4
- Maximum 65°C outgoing temperature
- Works down to outdoor temperature of -20°C
- Suitable for use with underfloor heating and oversized radiators
- Indoor integrated hot water distribution unit
- Easy to install and maintain
- Designed for connection to all types of wet heating systems
- Auto defrost function
- Proven technology that saves you money
*Coefficient of Performance, the basis of heat pump efficiency. For example, 3 units of environmental energy plus 1 unit of electricity equals 4 units of heating energy. This is subject to suitable low flow temperatures and house insulation levels. A stable and solid outside base is required.
